HELLO!

Kim Gibson
Are you struggling in your relationships with others? Do you feel like you don’t fit in? Does it feel like God is distant? Do you struggle with not being able to understand the Holy Spirit speaking to you? Have you experienced anxiety, depression, loneliness, social awkwardness, fear, people-pleasing, broken relationships, confusion, or even hopelessness?
I counsel women facing all these issues and more. My counseling is compassionate, directive, biblically based, and Spirit-led. My goal is to help women know God, experience His love, freedom from hurt, and understand life’s calling and purpose from His perspective. Also, helping women replace fear, depression, and anxiety with biblical truth will produce the abundant life God promises by not just surviving, but FLOURISHING in all areas of life.
I’ve been married since 2004. My husband has been a pastor for most of this time. Together, we have
served in local churches and Christian organizations with the purpose of equipping the body of Christ. We have 5 children ages 9-17, one of which we had the privilege of adopting from the foster care system. We also helped develop and launch a transitional housing program for women struggling with addiction where I spent time discipling and counseling women therein.
As a Christian, I spent many years believing that I didn’t have much to offer. God has given each believer gifts and the Holy Spirit to guide them but I struggled to understand how I could contribute to the body of Christ. After being counseled by a Biblical Counselor, I began to understand God’s loving character and how to live my life victoriously in Christ. I learned I am called, chosen, significant, sufficient, worthy, cherished, and even whole. And by God’s grace, this is what I desire to see other women experience as well.
